Hey there, how are you? I’m having a better week, phew finally because of a single decision that I made but I could have easily
What I saw were women of all ages that took great care of themselves and part of that self-care was how they approached their food, great wine, and style. What stood out to me, when I observed them, was how they all appeared to really enjoy delicious meals, yet were all thin.
If you’re anything like I used to be, then you’ve tried a diet or two, or a hundred to lose the same 10, 30, or 50 extra pounds. Losing the weight is only half the battle, as keeping it off seems to be nearly impossible and those pesky pounds always seem to find their way back (uhh…so frustrating!).
Does any of this sound familiar to you? You have a craving for a dessert, but you know that you “shouldn’t have it or want it.” Instead, you settle for the box of low-fat cookies that might also have “extra” protein or made with “whole” grain, so it sounds super healthy.
If you’re like I used to be and the many women I work with then “stress” is a normal part of your life. In fact, you probably don’t know any other way, as there’s so much to do, be, and it feels like there’s not enough hours in the day, to manage it all.
Okay, are you ready to kick off your weight loss? And here’s the cherry on top…we are not going to talk about food or exercise. Don’t get me wrong, both are wonderful quality gifts when it comes to your self-care, but that’s for later.
